About Night Twister
July 2, 2007 | Tagged about, night twister |
I blog under the name Night Twister because I want it to be perfectly clear that the opinions on my blog are my own, and not of my company, church, university, or other group or organization. It is not an attempt to be anonymous. My real name is available if someone has enough savvy to figure it out, and I’m not worried about my readers finding out what it is.
I was born and raised in California. I spent most of my early years in the west San Jose area. I’ve also lived in Central and Southern California, as well as in the states of Idaho, Texas, and North Carolina. I moved to northern Colorado in early 2000. I’m an honorably-discharged U.S. Army veteran. I am married, and have six children and four grandchildren.
I am an evangelical Christian, specifically of the Reformed Presbyterian persuasion. My faith is the most important thing in my life, followed closely by my family. I have a pug named Mindy that I spoil as often as I can. Just ask my wife.
I am a computer systems administrator by trade. I spent twenty years in the field of Architecture, slowly changing focus to computer support during the last ten years of that career.
Politically, I am a Reagan conservative. I believe that the government that governs least, governs best. I believe that government control, where necessary, belongs at the lowest level possible.
I am a student at a private Jesuit university in Colorado. I should complete my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (with a minor in Communication) by the end of this year.
I encourage you to comment on my blog; both those that agree and those that disagree. I will remove any comments that contain profanity or threats. Feel free to contact me via the email address shown on my blog.
