I know that many of you have been wondering where I’ve been for the past month. I was traveling on business in Europe and Southeast Asia. I visited Munich and Regensburg Germany, Torino, Sarego, Verona and Venice Italy, Singapore, Penang Malaysia, and Seoul South Korea. I spent about 48 hours in flight, ultimately going completely around the world.

I had originally planned to blog as I traveled, but I found I didn’t have nearly as much free time as I’d hoped. There was much to see and little time to see it, and my work days were longer than expected. This was my first trip beyond the North American continent.

I was originally going to write a single article about my trip, but quickly realized it was going to be much too long for a single blog. Over the course of the next several days, I will be writing about my experience in each city that I visited. This will be a departure from my normal topic on politics. I will try to include some politically-relevant information that I learned along the way.

It’s good to be back home with my family and friends. As much as I enjoyed my travels, there is still no place as wonderful as my home in Fort Collins, CO.
