Barack Obama gave a speech in Las Vegas today entitled “A Serious Energy Policy for Our Future”. In the speech he talks about how the government has wasted effort in new technology and how it’s not being used by oil companies. He blames previous administrations and legislatures for $4 per gallon gasoline. [...]

Christopher Lee of the Washington Post reports via MSNBC news that the House is trying to fund new lighting for the Capitol building in Washington D.C. This is a part of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Green the Capitol initiative.
